Since I last posted a couple of weeks ago, I’ve made a big decision and a bigger change. It’s something I’ve been mulling over for several months.
If you’ve followed me for awhile, you may remember this blog, when I came to the realization that I am, indeed, a writer. It’s hard to believe that happened over six months ago. I’ve had a tremendous amount of personal growth since then which has been exhausting yet energizing.
That personal growth led to my decision to affirm my writer identity in a concrete way.
Concrete as in new website.
I had been researching the pros and cons of creating a writer website, mulling it over, one week convincing myself I should do it, then the next week convincing myself I shouldn’t.
Like picking daisy petals: I should. I should NOT.
Well, the last petal was “should” and you may know what an avid gardener I am, so how could I argue with the wisdom in a flower?
Someday, when I’ve figured it all out in my head, I’ll write more about the dreams I had for The Well Nested Life, and why, daisy petal or not, this was such a hard decision.
But you won’t see that on this site because I won’t be adding new posts any longer.
To continue to read my stories and reflections on life, you’ll have to sign up on my new site. I hate to ask that of you, so to make it worth your while, I’ll sweeten the deal just in time for Valentine’s Day.
No, not chocolate. Better (although I admit, chocolate is hard to beat).
If you sign up by February 14, you’ll be eligible to win a $25 Amazon gift card. I choose Valentine’s Day as a deadline because it’s a good day for reader and writer to show each other some love.
You can still come back here to The Well Nested Life and visit. I’ll leave all my posts up until I have a chance to transfer them over one by one. I’m in no rush so you needn’t be either.
I can say with absolute certainty that this change is right for me and I hope you’ll come along with me. All you have to do is click here, look for the follow button, add your email and click follow.
(You’ll get a confirmation email almost immediately, so if you don’t see it, please check your junk mail folder.)
Thank you for taking this journey with me. There’s an exciting road ahead, and I hope you’ll stay by my side.
See you over at www.karendebonis.com!
